Dishwasher hatred
Like most people in Europe and america, I have a dishwasher.
And I have a love hate relationship with that dishwasher and dishwashers in general. It's only 2.5 years old so idk why it doesn't do its job
I run a clean cycle about once a week, give it a good scrub about once a month, scrape my plates so nothing but sauce is on them, give it everything it needs, and it still has the audacity to not wash all my dishes.
There are always multiple dishes that have to be hand washed and despite putting dishwasher salt and that blue liquid in it regularly, everything ends up with a white film on it that I have to regularly scrub off.
I'm seriously considering getting rid of it and getting a pickle fridge.
But before I go to such extremes (though I do love my pickles and fermented food), I figured I'd ask you folk for advice.
What can I do to make my dishwashers perform better? Give me your tips.
Also I have 3 kids and the idea of doing dishes by hand all the time kinda exhausts me, but so does the constant upkeep and performance issues of the dishwasher.
