Why do Christions hate the LGBTQ so much

Hey I have a very big question why do Christians hate the LGBTQ so much. It is because the one singular bible verse that goes "Leviticus 20:13 ~ If a man lies with a male as with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination; they shall surely be put to death; their blood is upon them." And is this verse true or an old lie or misunderstanding I just want to know why I get hated so much by Christians.
