I need to write a postcard to someone in China and thus wanted to ask if someone correct my Chinese?

This is what I've written:

在明信片的正面你可以看到 半木结构房屋. 他们曾经在德国建造过这样的房子。

我觉得它们看起来很漂亮。我希望你喜欢这张明信片。

This is what I wanted to write:

On the front of the postcard you can see half-timbered houses. They used to build such houses in Germany. I think they look beautiful. I hope you like this postcard. Take care of yourself.
