POV on the “yep yep yep” ?

I love both girls and the podcast, but I perceive Fran’s interruptions: “yep yep yep” & “totally” “yeah” “for sure” as annoying and rude, but I know her intention is to be an active listener. I think it just comes off as cutting off Ria (at least in my mind.) Was curious on everyone else’s thoughts?
