Best way to handle “I want it fresh”

This lady came through drive asking for her strips “fresh” and I simply replied “we make them ‘fresh’” and she said “well they need to be hot off the fryer.” I tell the director about it and he’s the kinda guy that wants to burn “the customer is always right” to the ground.

So, she comes up to the window where my director greeted her and told her it’d be seven minutes to make “fresh” strips and that she can pull into the parking lot.

I never saw her again after that.
