Anything else I should consider besides the Anova?
I’m thinking about asking for a chamber sealer for Christmas. I already have a freeze dryer. So some (but not all) of my sealing will be freeze dried stuff. I love the idea of being able to vacuum seal soups and chilis for freezing too.
It looks like you can seal those little half pint mason jars in this. If not sealing a liquid, can you put a pint jar on its side in the chamber and seal it? I know quart jars will need the attachment.
Does sealing mason jars with the tube attachment work any better than it does with the food saver? How does the vacuum pump compare to the one on the food saver?
Can I get a seal on a Mylar bag if I increase the seal time? Even if it’s not a real solid seal, I can double seal it using my impact sealer when it comes out.
Are there other machines I should be looking at? Both footprint on my counter and price are considerations.
