Who manages your celiac disease?

I was diagnosed almost 10 years ago after going to a gastroenterologist for rectal bleeding. During his assessment he said that I definitely needed a colonoscopy but also thought that my self-diagnosed IBS could be celiac and wanted to do an endoscopy at the same time. I inwardly rolled my eyes , but agreed. Lo and behold, I had celiac. When he called to tell me the diagnosis he said that he would get me in touch with a dietician but that was the last I heard from him regarding my celiac disease. I have been managing it alone since then. So, who manages your disease as far as routine follow up and lab work? My primary care doc knows about the diagnosis but doesn't order any tests for it. Do I need to find a celiac specialist? Is that even a thing?
