⭐️Quote: Luke wrote in [4:16-19]: “And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up. And as was his custom, he entered the synagogue on the Sabbath day, and stood up to read. And the book of the prophet Isaiah was given to him.
⭐️Quote: Luke wrote in [4:16-19]: “And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up. And as was his custom, he entered the synagogue on the Sabbath day, and stood up to read. And the book of the prophet Isaiah was given to him. And when he had opened the book, he found the place where it was written, The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor. . . . ” (Van Dyke translation)
The non-believer asks: If this prophecy that came on the tongue of the Prophet Isaiah is a prophecy about Christ, then it says, “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me,” meaning the revelation of God, and he did not say that the Spirit of the Lord is my self, my hypostasis, my part, or my soul… What is your interpretation of this?
It is mentioned in the Holy Bible that the Spirit of the Lord came upon Eldad and Medad as in the Book of Numbers [11:26] and upon Samuel as in the tenth chapter, the sixth paragraph of the Book of Samuel. The Prophet Ezekiel said it about himself in his book as in the eleventh chapter, the fifth paragraph, Ezekiel says: “And the Spirit of the Lord came upon me.”
⭐️ The response: If the objecting The non-believer had read the rest of the chapter, he would not have wondered.
- The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me, because the Lord has anointed me to preach good news to the poor;he has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and the opening of the prison to those who are bound.
2 To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord, and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn.
3 To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give them beauty for ashes, the oil of gladness for mourning, the garment of praise for a spirit of heaviness: and they shall be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, to be glorified.
- And they shall rebuild the ancient ruins, and raise up the former desolations, and renew the ruined cities, desolations from generation to generation.
5 And strangers shall stand and feed your flocks, and foreigners shall be your plowmen and your vinedressers.
6 But you shall be called priests of the Lord; you shall be called the ministers of our God. You shall eat the wealth of the nations, and take counsel in their glory.
7 For your shame double, and for your disgrace they will rejoice in their portion; therefore they will inherit double in their land; it will be theirs with everlasting joy.
8 For I the Lord love justice and hate robbery with unrighteousness . I will make their reward a surety and make an everlasting covenant with them.
In verse 8 of the same chapter, the speaker declares, saying, “ For I am the Lord .” The speaker who says, “ The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me, because the Lord has anointed me to preach good news to the poor ,” is the Lord Himself.
The first verse explains his incarnation and appearance as a human being, and in the eighth verse he declares his divinity, that this human being is the Lord Jehovah himself.

⭐️quote: The unbeliever asking again👇
Then his saying: “He sent me to heal the brokenhearted...” is evidence that he is a sent prophet and not the Lord who descended to mankind. God is far above that, far above.
⭐️ The response : We did not deny that Christ, according to the flesh, is a prophet, priest, and king . As for his being sent by the Father, this does not mean that he is merely a messenger, but rather he is the message itself, the divine Word incarnate (John 1:1).
This is what the Prophet Isaiah explained (48:16-17) Come to me, hear this: From the beginning I have not spoken in secret; from the time that I was, I am there; and now the Lord GOD has sent me, and his Spirit. Thus says the Lord your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: I am the Lord your God, who teaches you to profit you, and who leads you in the way that you should walk.
The speaker is the Lord, the Redeemer and Holy One of Israel (Thus says the Lord, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel), and he himself is the one sent by the Lord with the Holy Spirit (He sent me and his Spirit)✝️🕊
