Advice needed on if I should get another cat

Hi everyone! I have an almost 4 year old girl cat who is my entire world. Over the course of her life, I’ve had 2 separate roommates - one had a small dog and she seemed to tolerate the dog and they would play together sometimes. My second roommate, who I lived with the majority of my cats life, also had a male cat. They got along really well and would cuddle and groom one another/ play with each other. However, my roommates cat had surgery a year or so back and after the surgery their relationship was more tumultuous due to my cat not recognizing him due to the vet/ surgery smell. It took a long time for them to become reacquainted and they didn’t ever seem as close sadly. When we lived together, they would fight and get annoyed with each other but would also occasionally lay together and groom one another. My roommate just got married and moved out and I moved in to another spot with my fiance. She is more territorial and dominant and seems to enjoy all the solo attention, as she would get jealous of the other cat at times. However, now that we’ve had a few weeks at the new place, I’ve noticed her being more vocal. She has always been a vocal cat, but I’m worried she’s lonely. Typically, I work afternoons and my fiance works mornings so someone is usually always with her. I just don’t know if another cat would upset her or if she would enjoy the company. Any advice?
