Cat won’t stop scratching door

hi everyone, so my wife and i have had our cat for around a year or so. we just moved in with my parents as i just got out of the military and she won’t stop scratching our door. when we had our own place we could just leave our bedroom door open to allow her free range and to stop her from scratching our door. now that we’re with my parents temporarily we’ve been keeping our door shut for obvious reasons. now the only problem is she won’t stop scratching the door when we close it and it keeps us awake at night. for some context, she’s roughly 8 years old, we’ve tried sticky tape on the door, aluminum foil, we’ve gotten her scratching posts but nothing seems to work. it’s not like she’s uncomfortable here, she has full range of the house and is very comfortable hanging out with everyone, it’s just only when we shut our door she will scratch, even during the day. if she knows yours in the room she will scratch the door. does anyone have any suggestions that we can try to stop her? thank you in advance!
