Indoor Stimulation for Cats with PICA
The title is pretty straight forward but I just wanted to delve deeper. I have a 10 month old tabby cat, she was originally a street cat and has been adapting well to life at home with her brother the only problem is SHE EATS EVERYTHING - not just human food but towels, certain textures of clothes, and blankets. I got some Kong toys and puzzles for her but with my work schedule I find it hard to prepare them in advance.
I know cats with PICA do well with outdoor stimulation and that could be what she's missing but due to it getting colder (we live in Canada), I was hoping to look for more indoor stimulation.
She loves feather toys but demolishes them in 2.5 seconds and she doesn't like balls or other cat chasers. I also thought about buying lick mats for her and her brother and some more interactive toys. I also thought about getting a clicker to train her and reward positive behaviour.
Please help my clothes from being eaten 😭
