Test drove Slavia 1.0 AT two times and already booked it without test driving anything else, here’s why.
Slavia 1.5 goes out of my budget, also has higher maintenance and DSG reliability issues so didn’t bother taking a look at it. Only test drove 1.0 tsi to make sure it isn’t much less powerful than my OG 2015 Creta AT.
Verna has too low ground clearance for the conditions of the roads in my city. Ruled out.
Suzuki Ciaz is outdated for 2024 and low safety. Ruled out.
Honda is a good all rounder but doesn’t have the safety rating and badge value compared to Skoda. Ruled out.
Now coming to Slavia’s cousin, a car with the same engine - Virtus, at the same price point as the Slavia it lacks a sunroof. Has a more boy-ish design compared to the much mature looking Slavia.
Seems like the Slavia 1.0 is the only real option left for my case.
