MOT Advisory For LED Front Sidelights

Car passed MOT today, with one advisory stating ‘None standard sidelights too bright’ or something along those lines.

Now, I just think this is ridiculous really, and my reasoning is if you put my LED side lights next to a car from the past few years with these headlights that, although the beam may be directed correctly, blind and dazzle you so much it’s a relief when they’ve gone past, my ‘over-bright’ sidelights are still much less bright! What’s up with that?
