Anyone else just get this email? Thoughts?!
Since the community suddenly doesn’t allow images to be posted (insert side eye plus major eye roll here…) I’ll copy & paste the email:
“Valued customer,
As previously communicated, a vendor system outage recently impacted Capital One. Now that it has been resolved, we are providing you with additional information as to how we will continue to care for impacts you may have experienced as a result of this event.
What we are doing Capital One is in the process of refunding late fees related to Capital One-branded accounts that may have been impacted by the outage. You do not need to take any additional action for this reimbursement.
What we need your help to do We understand there may be late fees or other fees you have been charged by businesses other than Capital One as a direct result of this system outage. If you experienced these fees as a result of this event, please reach out to us at 800‑655‑2265 from 8 a.m.‑11 p.m. ET, 7 days a week.
As always, we encourage you to regularly review your account activity and statements online.”
Blah blah. Thoughts? Personal experiences with this subject? Would love to hear them.
