Cant lift my transunion credit freeze

Im getting ready to apply for a new credit card so I lifted my credit freezes on all the major credit bureau but I cant lift my transunion freeze, whenever I try It gives me an error stating "Sorry, we're having trouble showing the status of your credit freeze right now" and gives me the phone number to their customer service line. Same thing happens when I check if I have a fraud alert except this time it says "We’re unable to process your request at this time.". Its been like this for at least a week now and ive been trying on and off within that time frame. Any suggestions?

Edit: to clarify I'm not deathly afraid of calling the number, im just saying that i'd rather not call because in my experience I either get put on hold forever, get transferred to an automated line or I try to talk to someone with a impossibly thick accent.
