Dealership charging $790 for transmission service on a 2015 Toyota Corolla
The Toyota Dealership in Eugene, Oregon is recommending I get a transmission service for my 2015 Toyota Corolla, now that my vehicle has over 100k miles. They charge $790, for the transmission service kit, two gaskets replacements and cvt fluid. Point S offers a transmission service for around $150 and when I asked what it included the service rep said it's basically the same things the dealership do, but the "kit" is only necessary depending on the type of vehicle. Why does the dealership charge so much more?
