Nebula is done! 99% of challenges done!
What a run for zombies this year and as someone who really enjoyed Outbreak & MWZ I have really enjoyed the round based return to zombies.
After no lifing 14 days into the Nebula Grind and doing all the available Zombie Challenges, I can say I totally got my money's worth from COD yet again.
Now this isn't to say it was perfect with the amount of weird bugged out challenges and challenge descriptions but I really enjoyed my time playing and not once have I ever remotely got rage angry like in MP.
I think my favorite gun for Zombies is still the PP919 while i know it drops in effectiveness pretty much my the mid 20s, up until then? It just shreds and with the max ammo magazine you can shoot and never stop which is fun.
Second would be the baseball bat, I know it gets a lot of hate, that's warranted, but for some reason I just like beating the shit out of zombies with this melee and it was my preferred melee most of the time.
My least favorite weapon would probably be the Marine SP with it being pretty lackluster when compared to the ASG.
With regards to SAM trial challenges my favorite was probably Mutant Injection kills with my least favorite being the combat axe challenge and hold an area(especially Yummy Freeze).
Loved all the little EE and mini games they put into each map as well.
I don't have many gripes but the only things I think that would improve the mode is different modes and mini games(not EE) to vary the experience.
Spawning of zombies isn't my favorite with them despawning and reappearing behind you if you move a little bit into a different section of the map. I understand why, but just not my thing.
I think PAP should have a few more levels and the same with weapon rarity to make bullet weapons more viable for high round gameplay. Perhaps giving additional ammo for subsequent levels would be nice but to the extreme that every tower is adding a 100rd capacity.
I think more unique guns and changes to weapons similar to make them stand out more would be cool but not that huge of an issue.
I also didn't mind the augments but certainly wished we could keep leveling them up to possibly allow one other slot for either 2 minor augments or one additional major augment would be interesting but might also just be too broken.
I also found for myself playing in 3rd person just feels better than 1st and wonder if anyone felt the same?
