Didn't Come to Complain, but Damn!
I stumbled onto the reddit by accident, and I'm really glad I did. I now feel like perhaps I am not the only one who suddenly went from competitive to absolute hot-trash.
The boys and I were as excited about this release as any we have ever been a part of. Even going so far as to preorder (which makes little sense to begin with). But, all is not well in waffleville. I hate to join the pack, but I am having a similar experience here to what it seems so many folks have posted.
I am a career 1.20 kd player in Wz and MP (not great, I know, but it's mathematically superior to the mean and median) and I swear I have no shot to compete with the lobbies I am being tossed into. The people I am playing are dropping me the second I zip around a corner when they weren't even turning the corner or looking at the corner before I roll through. I have never faced competition like this in a COD before, and I can't really understand what's going on.
I am not a great player at all, but up until now I have been able to hold my own.
I was also doing really well at MP until the release of new WZ and season 1, which coincided with my upgrading to prestige 2 (I had no clue what that was until recently so I had just avoided doing it altogether).
I don't mind losing more than I win, but the kids I am playing right now are doing things my 36-year-old ass is not physically capable of doing.
Anyone have any theories on why we suddenly all suck? My only guess is either most the casuals already left, or, the SBMM is busted.
Thanks for reading, good luck out there dudes.
EDIT: I am playing on PC with M&K. I have never been decent at shooters on a controller, so AA adjustments are not a factor for me.
