Officially down 20lb! 30 to go!

Hi everyone! I have been in a calorie deficit for a few months now and today I am down 20lbs from my heaviest (187-167). It has been a long battle - 167 is around where I would sit when I wasn’t watching what I eat but about 1.5 years ago, I started gaining a bunch of weight even though I didn’t change anything. I ended up being diagnosed with hypothyroidism/ hashimotos. After months of medication increases, my thyroid numbers were finally in range and have been for the past few months and I am losing weight again. The weight really started coming off once I started weighing everything I ate in grams. It has been very eye opening and helpful to just weigh everything I eat and plan meals out as much as possible. I truly feel like I will be able to stick with this until I reach my goal of 135 this time. I have made huge lifestyle changes and I feel amazing physically eating healthier and not over eating like I was before. I feel disgusting and sick if I do that too much now. I have still been enjoying the foods I have always loved but in moderation. I’ve still got a ways to go but I feel very confident this time. Best of luck to everyone else on their journey! 🌞
