Wired Headphones that could last for life

Looking to upgrade my Bose Quiet Comfort 35 Series II to something better, that I can really immerse myself in my music. Something long lasting, and durable focusing on best all around music quality and my budget is $500 or less in the US. I primarily listen to Alternative music, along with Rap and a little pop, I have a large head so comfort is essential.

I will be using them mainly at home. Listening primarily from my iPhone 16 Pro Max, so if you can recommend a dongle as well that can plug into my phone to enhance my listening experience it would be greatly appreciated. Or anything else I need?
