What are your best bread proofing hacks?

I'm trying to get into bread making but I think my weak spot is proofing. My kitchen is alway chilly (especially in winter) and I haven't found a great method yet. I'd love something like the Brad & Taylor proofer but really don't have room (or money!) for another appliance (already have an oven, slow cooker, microwave, Instant Pot, etc). What are your best tried and true bread proofing hacks to get a good rise in a chilly kitchen?

Edit: Wow, thank you everyone for the great ideas! I have lots of things to try!
