LOOK HOW THEY DEFACE MY GIRL! Step-father's son in law drilled holes in gun.
So my stepfather liked my new antique rifle and asked very nicely to go shoot it, so i agreed and we went to the range, after i left it with him cuz he wanted to clean it, since there was no more ammo i agreed as i only had a 3 hour shift today [Gave him very strict instructions on to clean it properly] . [Ok so far not crazy bad] But then here comes his son in law a retired crayon eating marine in his 50s and he got it in his head that my gun needed a scope and so best way to do it? To drill holes in it to make room for a picatinny rail. Im so pissed! My stepfather at least felt bad and tried cleaning and deburring the holes after but the damage is done and the guns vaule is fucked. The problem is my stepfather looks up to his son in law cuz he was former military and a self proclaimed "gun expert" and trusts him wayyyy to much but i think this experience hurt that trust alot. Also i fully agree its partially my fault for leaving the gun with my stepfather and not putting it immediately in my safe and cleaning it myself. But still! Whyyy drill holes in someone else's gun! Whyyy? And the son in law took the rear sights and lost it apparently.
