Teensyville variant without minion?
My group aren't big fans of teensyvilles (though unfortunately we don't often get 7+pl.) so I've been thinking about ways to mitigate that. I think part of it is that the Minion and Demon don't know each other.
I know one variant is having the demon not kill for a night of their choice in exchange for them learning each other at the start of the game. Still though, just by sheer math it makes the evil team 33% of the players (or even 40%) so I've been looking for other alternatives.
So here's one thought I had: why not remove the minion altogether? Instead, add an extra outsider. Then, give the demon 3 bluffs, as well as a minion ability on top of their demon ability.
This makes it so they can blend in and coordinate purely with themselves, giving them a massive advantage at the cost of being the only one to actively misinform town (although the additional outsider won't hurt either).
Thoughts? Would this be unbalanced? I'm actually rather stoked to try it out sometime
