Intro to investing as a 17 year old. (Struggle)

I’m asking for guidance in my introduction to crypto/ investing.

I’m tired of being broke and I won’t be broke when I grow up.

Currently I’m 17 1/2 years old, I’m a senior in high school, and I turn 18 in June. Ever since I was in eighth grade, I had dreams of investing, only I was never old enough. I’m still not old enough. I always figured my parents would not let me use their id to start early and today I figured out that they wouldn’t let me.

My dad thinks I’m gonna put all my money on bitcoin and “throw it away.” But I have a feeling that if I don’t invest soon I’m gonna miss out on potential gains. Little do my idiotic parents know that if they put like ten bucks into bitcoin 14 years ago, only a couple years after I was born, it would increase by almost 130,000,000%. And my mom and dad probably would not be working their shitty jobs that they are now and be doing something else.

I have some shitty part time job a Burger King and I’m trying to make some extra money by investing some of my money that I just have laying around. They want me to go to college to be an engineer, but I would rather do something else. I would prefer to go to a technical college to start working on getting my cdl, and learn to work on diesel engines. Then I could start doing private loads and make some decent money off that.

I’m no genius, but I’ve noticed things my parents do that are just stupid. Like almost every day there’s some stupid thing that happens that has me like, “how could you not realize that / figure that out?” They’re so dumb sometimes that it pisses me off. Like now. It makes me want to move out. I cannot wait till I’m 18 and have some freedom.

The part that pissed me off even more is that they think I’m an idiot and treat me like one because I don’t talk to them much cause it’s unbearable.

So finally, what’s the best way to invest and make money as a minor, so I can gtfo this place as soon as possible.
