Thoughts on PRP injection treatment for injuries?

Curious if anyone has any experience with PRP treatment for their injuries and if it helped them heal. I'm also wondering about how safe the procedure is, and how PRP promotes natural tissue growth.

I have slightly frayed tendons in my right arm (MRI confirmed) that cause pain when I use the computer/type for long periods of time and would love to get some opinions on this treatment. Thank you so much!
