How do comp diary entries work?

When players are making their diary entries about a comp, when are those recorded? I ask because it seems kind of weird.

Like with last night’s episode. The players were giving their post-HOH testimonials in Jankie World, when they left Jankie world like 5 minutes after the HOH was done.

So do they pre-record a bunch of potential scenarios and splice them together or..?
