Why Are Washrooms in Some Schools So Unhygienic? Seeking Opinions and Solutions!

My nephew studies in one of the prominent schools in Bengaluru. Recently, I found out that the school does not provide decent and hygienic washroom/toilet facilities. The condition he described is truly shocking, especially considering the exorbitant yearly fees they charge. While the outside campus and classrooms are impeccably maintained, the washrooms are not even kept to a basic standard of hygiene.

This raises serious concerns about the school’s priorities and the well-being of its students. How can such an essential aspect of student health and comfort be neglected? Shouldn’t schools ensure hygienic facilities as part of their basic infrastructure?

I’m worried about the health implications this could have on children, especially when unhygienic conditions can lead to infections and other illnesses. Have any of you faced similar issues with schools in your area? What steps do you think can be taken to address this problem effectively?

Would love to hear your opinions and suggestions on this matter.

Note: BY UNHYGIENIC TOILETS/WASHROOMS I MEAN NO PROPER INFRASTRUCTURE PRESENT INSIDE THE WASHROOMS. Not the way students are using or about janitors not doing work properly.
