Pet Policy Apartments
I current live in a apartment, I had my mal for 6 months now. She is fit and happy. I need to move closer to my job. Do Apartment managers consider Belgian Malinois apart of the German shepherd family? Most people don't know what a Belgian Malinois is and assume they are a small German Shepherd.
Pets Welcome! Two pets allowed per apartment. Weight restrictions of 100lbs at full grown. Pet rent and non-refundable pet fees apply. Resident shall keep all pets vaccinated and registered with appropriate local/state officials in accordance with applicable law. No dog breeds will be allowed who are known to exhibit aggressive or vicious behavior, including but not limited to the following: Rottweiler, Husky, Pit Bull, Great Dane, German Shepherd, Chow Chow, Doberman Pinscher, Wolf Hybrid (Source: Insurance Information Institute)
We've DNA tested our dog and she is 70% Belgian Malinois. Just wondering if I should just avoid these breed restriction apartments.
Here another one from a different apartment:

Just that last sentence makes me not want to even try but also how could they even prove this? Could they try to evict me without going to court?
EDIT: Please don't try to educate me on how bad an apartment is for a Mal. I just want advice on how to deal with breed restrictions. We currently live in a apartment and shes is happy and fit. I WFH, and take her out 3 times a day minimum. If I could get a decent interest rate on a house I would. I'm also looking at training areas around the apartment. I'm only moving due to job location.
