MrBeast and co do not understand the trolly problem

This was probably the dumbest thing on the show so far. MrBeast attempted to introduce the trolly problem as a game, but he totally failed by announcing that this game would be played until 10 people remain.

By setting a hard cap, MrBeast has removed the very ethical dilemma at the heart of the trolly problem in favour of yet another simple elimination game. Because the game goes on until 11 people are out, it incentivizes the captain to eliminate as many people as possible because “saving” them isn’t really an option. If you save them, you are kicking the can down the road and potentially placing yourself on the tracks next. There is no ethics at play, only gameplay.

Just like last episode when MrBeast didn’t understand the Monty Hall problem, here he goes again with a complete misunderstanding of a basic yet complex principle.
