Is it only in Batangas? What does it mean?

What does Umpe or Minya/Miña mean? I know the Umpe is a person’s godmother or godfather in confirmation or kumpil and Minya is a godfather and mother in baptism. Good thing they were both gender-neutral but I can’t seem to find the origin of these.
