What makes a good bass compressor to you?

I've owned many bass compressors... Darkglass Hyper Luminal, Cali76 (big one with the transformers), Cali76 Compact, MXR, API, etc. I've landed on the Union Tube and Transistor LAB Compressor as my favorite in our new video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fNcNh8L6PrQ

Because it's LA2A-ish I could see it being a little less desirable for fast aggressive music. Maybe. But at the end of the day, what makes a great bass compressor to you? How much compression are you using?
