Inner dimensions of H100 ear cushion compared to AirPods Max

The size and comfort of the ear cushions are quite important to me, and I am in midst of choosing between the two. It seems the inner dimensions of the ear cushions of the two headphones are sort of similar, just 1 mm apart or so.

Does anyone own or worn both for comparison? I often wear them for 8-10 hours at the time on longer flights and snug inner cushions tend to get really uncomfortable.
