Please tell me why everyone is OBSESSED with the new firmware update????

So there’s a new firmware update that will be coming out soon for Bambu printers which will require some sort of official authorization to do anything on your printer. To start this off, ok yes, you won’t be able to use 3rd party apps with your printer, but Bambu never said they would support any 3rd party software in the first place! And for everyone saying their software is buggy and unusable, I’ve been using it for the past year about nonstop printing more and more things with ZERO issues… I actually just bought 2 AMS hubs and it’s treating me pretty well. I feel like you guys are over reacting but feel free to correct me down below.

(Also mods please don’t perma b me I know yall are getting rid of posts like this but I am just confused and want answers to what’s going on - no one else has explained so far)
