Pressure to induce…

Im 33 weeks. Got a note from my OB this morning that the high risk MFM doctor is suggesting we induce at either 38 or 39 weeks.

My risk factors are: 1) Age 35 2) IVF pregnancy 3) Borderline gestational diabetes, but my blood sugar is consistently normal and well managed 4) White coat hypertension (but always normal at home, measured daily) 5) Baby measuring larger

I feel like I’m kind of in a gray area for a medically necessary induction and they’re just being cautious, which I appreciate. However, I’d like to avoid induction if I can and have the baby come out when she is ready…

Has anyone held off on inducing? How did it go? Did you end up having to induce in the end? TIA!
