What would you do?

Hit a milk crate today on the highway. Took out the right side of my bumper, my fog light and my windshield fluid reservoir. I don’t care to fix it properly as it’s my daily beater anyways. The only concern I have is my fuel economy. I drive 1 hour on the highway to work everyday. How badly will this affect my fuel economy? What would you do? What kind of material can I use to act as a replacement for my missing bumper? Cardboard and duct tape?
