Anyone feel like they have to move mountains to work on projects they’re uninterested in?

I soak up information like a sponge when i’m interested. When i’m not, i feel more like a rock.

It’s so annoying when people tell me to “just study” as i have to repeat it dozens of times to actually remember it and for that to happen i need to be tied down with nothing to get distracted by.

It’s especially challenging when i don’t see how this will actually benefit me in life. Like, beyond academics. There are more important things to be worried about imo.
