Do university reputation affect employers?
Hello everyone,
Im considering studying bachelor of education at Griffith university or QUT. As written in the title, i am a little bit worried about whether the university im going to will eventually affect the quality of my Diploma. Many relatives have advised me to pursue QUT as it is considered a more prestigious uni, thus giving me higher chance of getting employed in Urban schools. However, Griffith University offers me a Vice Chancellor’s International Scholarship which deducts 50% of my tuition fees, and i have known 2 HighSchool teachers that graduated from Griffith.
Additionally, according to comparED, Griffith University is inferior in term of full-time employment rate after graduation. I am hoping to hear any opinions on my current situation and concerns, thank you everyone.
