What does becoming a NT English teacher mean?

Hi, I am 57 starting Master of Teaching secondary English from July. I have been a English tutor as a non-native for decades teaching Y1-12 in South Korea. Before too late, I want to teach and help First Peoples especially in remote areas, NT. My major is English Linguistics but I am sure I can teach VCE, too. Since I came to Darwin, I have been wondering if NT needs a teacher like me. If I am given a chance, I can do much better than any others for sure. I need honest advice from you teachers. I applied to Teach for Australia, but failed at the beginning.- many drop outs this year bring about applicants competing themselves, they said. They say now my CV does not showcase my competencies enough- I don't believe it. Am I needed in NT? I would appreciate any advice.
