Painting shade sail Galvanised steel poles?

Hey guys,

Inherited some natural silver galvanised steel posts (I believe?) holding up a shade sail. I’m wanting to paint the posts satin or gloss black to camouflage in with a black colourbond fence I’m getting soon.

Any tips to help them come up as good as possible?
