Alert: Stolen Audeze Maxwell Headphones

On November 1, 2024, a significant quantity of Maxwell headphones (both PS and Xbox models) was stolen from a shipping facility in Los Angeles.

Beware purchasing Maxwell from unauthorized dealers. We recently found a stolen unit sold by 6ave Electronics. Please purchase only from our authorized dealers or from Audeze.com.

The affected serial numbers begin with S5BHAM and S6BHAM (e.g., S6BHAMxxxx). Please note that while a serial number starting with S5 or S6 indicates the product is from the affected batch, it does not necessarily mean your unit was stolen.

You can verify your serial number here:

https://www.audeze.com/apps/product-registration?action=snlookup

The website will provide a clear confirmation of stolen units.

If you find your Maxwell headphones stolen, please contact Amazon or the dealer. Also, please notify us by emailing [[email protected]](mailto:[email protected]) so we are able to record the stolen unit, and notify the authorities.

Please note that we will not be able to provide warranty support or service for stolen products.

Serial Number location:

The serial number can be found on the sticker at the bottom of the retail box following the letters "SN", and will be formatted similar to this but may have different number/letter combinations: NBBHAYxxxxxx

In case you no longer have the box, the number is also on a sticker underneath the left earpad, which can be removed by turning the earpad clockwise until it clicks out of place. You can then pull the earpad assembly straight off. To replace the earpad, just turn it counter-clockwise until it clicks into place, making sure the "R" is the correct way up.
