The Method that works for me
One method I have found that works is when falling asleep, you repeat affirmations like "I remember how easy it is to leave my body. All I have to do is sit up". And then while saying these affirmations, concentrate on your heart and actually try to feel the sensation of how truly easy it is to simply sit up and leave your body. You can add some visualization to the process, like imagining you sitting up.
The visualization can help but it isn't really necessary and if you are not good at that, no problem at all. The main points of this technique are to repeat the affirmations and to feel that the affirmations are true.
In the beginning, there might not be any sensation and you may have doubts as to whether you can conjure it up, but after a short while of keeping at it (it can take seconds or minutes), you'll start to feel it and at some point, the sensation will become so strong that you'll feel the urge to sit up.
You can follow the urge to sit up and boom, you're in the astral. Your energy body will be sitting up with your physical body asleep behind you. Walk away from your body and have fun. If you can't see, just say "Vision Now!" and your vision should be clear. However, if your body isn't fully relaxed at the point at which you follow the urge to sit up, you might end up sitting up with your physical body. Just lie back down and repeat the process.
I think this works quite well with the Wake Back to Bed method. You can also use some binaural beats or anything that helps get your body in a state of complete relaxation.
