How many guys do you speak to at once?

I am currently dating intentional and speaking to a few guys at the moment. Last night, i went on a date, and the guy was lovely and funny. The conversation went to dating and he showed me his hinge app, and I saw 30 chats and 30 inactive chats. This has sort of me put me off, because why are you talking to so many women?! He said he's only been on 3 dayes and that it shouldn't bother me because I am speaking to a few guys and they all have my number 🙄😒 the math isn't mathing. When you are dating, how many do you speak to at a time?
