What is this white outline?

For context, I am shooting with a Sony A7RV+Sony 200-600G and sometimes a Sony 1.4x teleconverter. This is a completely unprocessed raw file, just cropped in to show the issue I am having. The issue shows up with or without the teleconverter. What is this white outline on top of the birds heads? I’m noticing it on many of my wildlife photos where the background is much lighter than the subject. Running it through DXO Pure Raw 4 makes it even worse. Interestingly Topaz Photo AI removes it in some photos but not others.
