Which lens for dental photography?

I’m a dentist looking to take close up smile photos (see below for example):

My plan is to use a D7000 and a ring flash. Two lenses have been recommended to me (85mm f/3.5G and 105mm f/2.8G). Could someone please explain the pros and cons between the two for my intended purpose?
