Did You Leave Your Family Bcz of Their Toxicity?

I'm in my 20s. Have tried it before, they apologized and promised to be better, so I stayed. Things continue to be unchanged (at least the physical abuse is gone, I thank them for it). Now am again planning an exit, probably next year. Did anyone have a similar experience? Did you do it? How difficult was it and how did you manage everything (food, pg or flat, keeping your location a secret, etc.)?
