UPDATE to my Flip Aquatics story --- they changed my order at the last minute and expect me to pay separate shipping fees to receive my original order. Their final decision is that they will not change this policy. Don't buy from them!!

TL;DR is that I purchased cories + some other stuff from Flip Aquatics. They sent me an email saying I had 6 hours to respond before sending me out only a partially fulfilled order. I never saw the email, possibly never got it, and they sent me a partially un-fulfilled order. I made the purchase specifically for cory catfish, and I never got them.

After chatting with customer service because WTF, their final offer is that if I would like cory catfish when they go back in stock, they will give me discounted shipping and I get to pay 35 additional dollars instead of 60 additional dollars. Wow! Thanks guys! So because the cories that I purchased were not available to be shipped, I now can spend THIRTY-FIVE MORE DOLLARS for the order I originally expected. They ~talked to the manager~ and this is all they can do. I am obviously not doing this.

So basically there is nothing I can do but give them bad press and say probably don't order from Flip Aquatics. They just want your money and if they're sick/dead/not available that actually is a plus for them they will just make you make another order and give them more money.

I put a call into my LFS (where I honestly hate going because its kind of sketchy and I'm a woman and honestly they treat me like I'm an idiot) and they are ordering me some pygmy cories and will charge me zero dollars in shipping ❤️
