Why do you shoot Analog
Like the title says "Why do you shoot Analog" ?
I may be old (wait I know I am old) but when I started doing photography digital wasn't really an option, then digital started showing up and became available to the general public it wasn't really a competition and film was still "King of the Jungle", slowly most people transitioned to digital due to cost and ease of use/ accessibility and now the resurgence of Analog has come about and I see a lot of people shooting on cameras that when new wouldn't have been considered that great of a camera Point and shoot, generic glass etc.
I also see a lot of people seem to be getting into photography with Analog as their first camera when to be honest film aint cheap to learn on. I shoot Analog because I like "originals" I mostly shoot polaroid or Tintypes when I shoot analog because you really do need to do almost everything in camera - it pushes me to slow down, in all aspects of the art and there will only be 1 at the end when I have created the shot and most of the time I made the film as well...
so why do you shoot analog... really trying to understand motivations
