What’s the root of it all?

Since discovering Ammon, I have been obsessing (in a good way) with figuring out which gods were the VERY FIRST to be worshipped, whether in Greece or Mesopotamia or wherever. I just starting looking into Dagon, and apparently he’s older than Ishtar? So who is older than Dagon? I want to know the earliest few major deities in order of when they were discovered/invented. Anyone got any insight as to if Dagon is the root? Or does this go much deeper?
