Why Acuras depreciate so much faster than Honda

Looking at the used market, you van get the Acura equivalent for less or similar to the Honda equivalent with similar age and miles.

For example, a 2017 Acura RLX with 100k miles sells for about the same as a 2018 Honda Accord with 100k miles despite the Acura being in the same class as a Mercedes S600 and having an original MSRP more than double the accord.
