Journey so far

Hey everyone!

I fully ruptured my right Achilles about 2cm while running to catch a flight.

June 13 - Rupture June 14 - met with Ortho June 19 - MRI June 25 - Ortho follow up and MRI review June 28 - Surgery and placed in cast July 9 - Cast removed and placed in CAM boot. (I’ve attached a video of my first steps in boot, giggling because of how exciting it feels to stand up and walk around)

I was cleared to do PT and FWB.

Follow up appointment in a couple of weeks.

I’m currently searching for a PT office by me. How soon did many of you begin PT after being placed in a boot and FWB?
